As if getting a chance to watch the Most Powerful Girl Band in JAPAN now is not a reason enough, here are 5 big reasons why you should not miss SCANDAL’s concert this coming March 16th and 17th.
REASON #1 – Spend an intimate night with SCANDAL
Many may say why *SCAPE? It only holds only 800 people standing. Well, SCANDAL in Japan is famous for their ‘Live House’ experience, where their concerts are held in venues that hold no more than 1,000 people. This is where audiences can connect with the performers – on a plane where audiences can feel every strum of the guitar, every beat of the drums, and feel the intensity of the deep bass resonating through their souls.
This March, experience SCANDAL as they perform at one of the most popular multipurpose live house in Singapore, *SCAPE. The hall is designed and built with acoustics in mind, and speaking to the organisers of J-LIVE Asia it seems like no expenses is spared to bring to audiences a world class audio visual concert experience.
What’s more, the *SCAPE warehouse has a low stage, it’s the best place to be noticed by the performers on stage. In fact we were often told by the artist themselves that they can practically see every face in the audiences, making them even more fire-up for the their performances seeing the excited face of their fans.
Done away are the seats for an authentic ROCK CONCERT! Jump! Jump!
REASON #2 – It’s been 1 year 6 months since they last came to Singapore
Their 2nd solo in Singapore will be their first in almost 1 and a half year since their last ASIA tour in September of 2011. That is a very long time ago… And since then they have already released 3 Singles and 2 albums with their latest Studio album, ENCORE SHOW out on the 6th of February.
Don’t you just want to see them again in Singapore? For those lucky enough to catch them in Japan and Singapore, you will know that something is just different… Their performance overseas are AWESOME but different, now is your chance to witness it!
#REASON 3 – It’s presented by JLIVE ASIA!
J-LIVE ASIA has become one of the premier branding to lookout for when attending a concert featuring Japanese Artist. You would be guaranteed the best concert experiences with a proven track record to give a peace of mind, with the emphasis on providing the best experiences.
Not to forget, they are also the team behind the annual Anime Festival Asia, Mega I Love Anisong Concerts. So they know their stuff. Just to name a few of the projects by JLIVE in 2012, One Ok Rock in June, flumpool in September and Perfume in November. We spoke to the organisers about what really is JLIVE ASIA all about.
“Every show we do under the J-LIVE ASIA brand is about bringing the best in quality artist, setup and audience experience. We ensure that every customer touch point is looked after as best we can. We hope that our customers will grow with us, where quality will be synonymous with the JLIVE ASIA brand.” – Shawn Chin, Executive Director, SOZO
Well, you can’t argue with that!
REASON #4 – The JLIVE ASIA VIP Experience!
This is available only for the VIP tickets holders, but this might be the first for SCANDAL, a session to meet the fans after the concert. A rare chance indeed! “So what is a High Touch?” Some might ask, it’s really a “High Five” a touching of hand in the air. It seems that ALL VIP holders in the VIP section will get a chance to greet SCANDAL personally!
#REASON 5 – All these rocking goodness!
SCANDAL over the years have released many songs. And for such an awesome band, they will naturally have provided songs for a few of the top ANIMEs under the sun. In fact they have provided the ending theme songs for the Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and Bleach.
Shunkan Sentimental for FMA:Brotherhood
A truly talented group is not afraid of change, and trying out new stuff. SCANDAL in their 2012’s single PINHEEL Surfer did just that, showing the other side of their talents.
Even with all these 5 reasons thou, the top reason I will want to be at the concert would have to be SCANDAL’s Performing Prowess. They are just too awesome on stage, it’s better than just Satisfaction, it for me has that “ah that’s 1 less thing to regret about”.

So will you be attending the SCANDAL Live Singapore 2013? The AFA CHAN team will definitely be there!
Last we heard, tickets are selling fast at SISTIC! Better get your tickets now!
Btw, SCANDAL’s latest Studio Album, Encore Show, is released on 6th Feb! What we also hear is that Sony Music will be also selling the album at the concert!
